WHY WOOD

Bearded Timber is a one man shop producing unique home décor and furniture from reclaimed and repurposed wood.

I have always loved being able to express my creativity, especially when there is a beautiful product to show at the end. I started building items for my daughters and now look forward to creating products for others.

I have always been attracted to how diverse and unique wood is from other materials. Even within the same species of wood there can be vast differences in grain, color, shape, etc. In addition, wood can be structural and strong or fine and delicate which allows for an endless expression of creativity and life long learning!
